How to remove labels from glass jars. - Rubi & DO IT

How to remove labels from glass jars.

Recicling glass jars or bottles, whether to use them for our own recipes or to use them for DIY job, is very common. Let’s show you how to remove, easily the old labels from this jars.

¡Hello everyone!

For this DIY trick, we need cans or glass bottles we want to reuse and as usual have their good stuck label.

To remove these labels without any effort or damaging the package, only we need steam, as simple as that.

We put a pot (large enough that the label receives full steam) with water on the fire and brought to the boiling point.

When the water is boiling, we take the glass jar, with the help of a cloth or mitten, so that the steam does not burn us, and we make the steam comes into direct contact with the label.

Last about two minutes, we can go withdrawing little by little, the label watching all traces of adhesive on the packaging.

If we take and save even more, if possible, this trick yourself, can take advantage of the steam generated in any cooking that we make, as the package will not come into contact with food, there is no risk to spoil it.

I hope you liked and remember; Think DO IT!

A hug!
